Registration

Registration Information

We look forward to your attendance at BYU Education Week, August 19–23, 2019. Before you register, please read each page regarding registration, campus housing, and other related items.

Notable Changes this Year:

  • Cougar Cash cards have been discontinued. A new BYU Gift Card will be available for purchase when you arrive on campus. Details are pending.
  • Similar to Men's and Women's housing, Family housing registration will be available online or by telephone on a space available basis.
  • A parent or legal guardian must accept the BYU Continuing Education Terms and Conditions for a child under the age of 18. Online registration is strongly encouraged. See the "Notice for Parents" below.
  • Minimum age change. Youth may register if they will be age 14 by December 31, 2019.
  • Youth may attend the youth dance by showing their Education Week name badge—a separate dance registration is no longer required.

Register from April 10 to August 23

Early registration is available from April 10 at 8:00 a.m. to August 17 at 5:00 p.m. mountain time. At-the-door registration is available the week of the program, August 19-23, 2019. If you intend to add campus housing to your registration, please view the Campus Housing page for pricing, dates, and procedures.

Each person attending must register and wear his or her own name badge to be admitted to classes. Name badges may not be sold, transferred to another person, or shared between students.

Participants who register by August 11 will receive a receipt and name badge by mail. Individuals who register on or after August 12 should pick up their name badge at one of our Will-Call desks.

Minimum Age: Education Week is for adults and youth ages 14 and up. Children younger than 14 as of December 31, 2019—including babies—are not permitted in the classrooms or in campus housing facilities during Education Week.

Notice for Parents: A parent or legal guardian must accept the BYU Continuing Education Terms & Conditions for a child under the age of 18. Acceptance is easy when registering youth online. If a youth registration is initiated over the telephone a Terms and Conditions form will be attached to the email confirmation. The form must be printed, completed, and returned to the Education Week Office before the youth can attend the program.

Please review BYU’s Dress and Conduct Standards before you register.
